Italian Bread Pizza
Ingredients:
6-12 inch slice of Italian bread, cut length wise
prepared pizza sauce (look at #3 in modifications)
part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
pepperoni
broccoli
red pepper flakes
Directions:
Spread about two tablespoons of sauce on the bread. Top with cheese, pepperoni, broccoli, and red pepper flakes, as desired. Bake in toaster over until cheese melts (or longer, if you're like me and like it a little burnt).
Review:
I love making this for lunch on the weekends. It's pretty filling, and if you top it with broccoli and other veggies, it can be sort of healthy.
That looks delicious and after all the recent heavy holiday foods, pizza is a nice change of pace!
